The Jewish Living and Learning job track is designed for anyone whose primary responsibility is Jewish living and learning at the JCC. The job track offers intellectual, spiritual, and social support and stimulation for JCC Jewish educators; in other words, a spa-retreat nurturing all your Jewish senses. These sessions will address content knowledge, programming methods, “big picture” issues such as collaboration inside and outside the JCC, strategic visioning, and of course, lots of peer-to-peer learning and sharing.
Jewish Living & Learning Job Track Leader: Dr. David Ackerman, Senior Vice President | Director, Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Jewish Education
Leads the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Jewish Education, which helps JCCs improve their ability to be excellent venues for Jewish living and learning through the Jewish and educational training and development of senior personnel, along with elevating the Judaic nature of JCCs in all program areas.
